Service Description

The story of my vessel: An Expressive Arts therapy and pottery hand building workshop. In this 3 day workshop we will be exploring what it means to be a vessel of life. Each with a unique shape and experience, holding many different forms of life and resources. Each of us comes with a story, and sometimes we can attach ourselves to one chapter of the book and call it the whole story. This is an opportunity to step back to see and experience hands on the bigger picture of the stories we hold in our bodies and hearts. During the three days we will be working with clay and learning the hand-building technique of coiling. We will delve into the skill and tricks of coiling and working with clay. Each will create a single vessel shaped by our own unique journey. We will also work with creative writing, meditation, movement and other forms of artistic expression to reflect and harvest the wisdom of working with clay. This is a safe space to show and tell your story and leave with a deeper understanding and a clearer direction towards the next chapter of your life.
